Product charging
Front charging with a chute can be carried out manually or with the suitable lifting devices.
With handling equipment developed by Glatt, even the heaviest containers can be lifted and emptied easily and conveniently in front of the unit.
Product discharging
The modern GC Smart features an integrated discharge system. The enhanced Glatt system enables fast and gentle discharge of the coated tablets.
Optimized Air treatment
The optimized horizontal process air guidance minimizes turbulence in the nozzle area, ensuring perfect coating results. The newly integrated exhaust air chamber reduces components and space requirements to a minimum. Its smart design eliminates time-consuming cleaning and inspection. A guide plate in the exhaust air chamber allows quick adaptation for fill volumes as low as 5%, enabling fast and easy handling.

Drum Coating Process
The drum coating process is suitable for coating and refining tablets, minitablets and capsules. The GC Smart is particularly well suited for sugar coating.
During the drum coating process, the tablets, capsules or minitablets are moved gently and in a controlled manner in a drum where the coating is applied. The key is to distribute the coating material as evenly as possible. This is ensured by the appropriate spray equipment and homogeneous mixing.
