With WIP solutions, most surfaces are wetted and require additional manual cleaning steps (disassembly of parts).
A whole range of specially developed components is used here to ensure efficient cleaning. Depending on the configuration, Glatt WIP systems can be controlled automatically or semi-automatically. In this process, factors such as flow rates, cleaning agents, pressures, temperatures, and times are monitored and controlled.

CIP
Clean-in-Place (CIP): With the Glatt SC SuperClean® cleaning process, systems can be automatically cleaned and dried without disassembly or opening of product-contact parts.
Through precise control of flow rates, cleaning agents, pressures, temperatures, and times, a reproducible process can be established. The Glatt SC SuperClean® concept is thus a validated, fully automated cleaning process. Glatt has developed and patented a whole range of components that enable comprehensive cleaning of systems and production lines.
Our intelligent cleaning solutions are therefore often specified where labor costs are a significant factor and/or where highly active substances (HAPI) from OEB 4 are used.
